Every LeisureCraft outdoor sauna we carry falls into one of three shapes, each suited to a different backyard, budget, and climate.

Construction & Wood Options

Every Dundalk LeisureCraft sauna is built from one of two cedar grades. Canadian Timber models use Eastern White Cedar, lighter in color, naturally rot-resistant, and the more accessible price point in the lineup. Select premium Leisurecraft saunas are built from Knotty Red Cedar, which carries a richer color, heavier-gauge hardware, and stronger long-term rot resistance.

Dundalk LeisureCraft barrel saunas use stave-and-band construction: individual cedar staves are stood on end and tensioned with stainless steel bands, a technique that requires no internal framing and sheds water naturally off the curved roof. Dundalk LeisureCraft sauna cabins instead use dovetail corner joints that interlock without fasteners, giving thicker, more insulated walls better suited to very cold climates. All models ship with a bronze tempered-glass door, and most include a black steel or EPDM-membrane roof for year-round weatherproofing.

Installation, Delivery & Warranty

Dundalk LeisureCraft sauna kits are designed for DIY assembly, pre-cut and pre-drilled, with two people recommended and only basic tools required (drill, level, rubber mallet, jigsaw). No specialized carpentry is needed: barrel models use stave-and-band tensioning, and cabin models interlock at dovetail corners without fasteners.

Sauna's ship is created directly from Dundalk LeisureCraft; the trucking company delivers to the curb or end of your driveway only, they won't back into your driveway or unload the crate for you. Crates run 6 to 14 feet long and weigh 800 to 1,600 lbs depending on the model. If your crate is under 92" (7 feet), the truck may have a liftgate to help; longer crates have no liftgate, so plan on a forklift, a tow truck, or a few extra hands to get it off. Every sauna needs a level base with a slight slope for drainage, a concrete pad, wood deck, crushed stone, or paver patio all work.
